Establishment of Franc Junc s.p.
In 1981, Mr. Franc Junc began a part-time craft activity in the field of metal machining. Initially, production was carried out on conventional lathes and milling machines, which laid the foundations for the company’s further development. -
Introduction of advanced NC machines
In 1986, the company made a significant technological leap with the purchase of its first NC machine from Gildemeister. This marked the beginning of program-controlled machining, which was highly advanced for that time.

Relocation to Avtoprevoz Tolmin facilities
Ongoing investments in new machinery, particularly lathes and machining centers, resulted in the need for additional production space. Consequently, the company relocated to larger facilities operated by Avtoprevoz Tolmin, enabling further technological and production development.

ISO 9001 certification
As the company continued to grow, we obtained the ISO 9001 certification, elevating the quality of our services and ensuring a systematic and verified approach to our customers.

Implementation of the first robotic cell
In 2007, the first robotic cell was introduced, marking the beginning of automated machining on existing machines. In the following years, two additional purpose-designed robotic cells were developed and implemented.

Management taken over by son Damir Junc
With the transformation of the company into a limited liability company and the transfer of management to the founder’s son, Damir Junc, the company intensified its focus on automation and optimization of production processes. This proved to be crucial for maintaining competitiveness in the market. -
ISO 14001 Certification
Recognizing the importance of environmental protection, the company obtained the ISO 14001 certification in 2014, confirming its commitment to sustainable development.

Relocation to a new production facility in Kobarid
With the continuous expansion of production capacities and an increasing number of employees, a new production hall was constructed. The relocation to the new facility in Kobarid was successfully completed in 2020.

Implementation of Industry 4.0 production
In 2022, a comprehensive production ERP system was introduced and workplaces were digitalized. This enables us to follow modern Industry 4.0 standards while further improving production efficiency and traceability.

At JUNC CNC d.o.o., our production processes are developed in line with the principles of Industry 4.0, ensuring a high level of digitalization, automation, and interconnectivity. Our manufacturing operations are supported by digital production monitoring within the advanced GoSoft ERP system, which enables precise planning, tracking, and optimization of every stage of production.
For efficient cutting tool management, we have integrated an automated dispensing cabinet Drolctech Optumma into our ERP system. This solution provides automated tool issuing, inventory control, and complete traceability. The integration of both systems contributes to greater productivity, full process traceability, and repeatability, ensuring consistent quality and reliability of our products.
Quality
Quality is the foundation of our operations. At JUNC CNC d.o.o., we perform continuous quality control at all stages of production and ensure traceability of processes. Our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 standards confirm our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility. Every product is manufactured according to customer specifications and subjected to strict quality controls in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001. Measurements are performed on a 3D measuring machine both during the initial sampling phase and serial production, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
